Make a snowflake tinsel

To make a Toilet Paper Roll Snowflake, you'll need:

 

 

  • 2 rolls of toilet paper
  • scissors
  • glue stick
  • paint
  • a brush
  • sequins

 

 

 

Look at the tinsel made by my Year 7 pupils in December 2016
  1. Cut 18 1cm-large pieces in your toilet paper rolls.
  2. Take 6 pieces and give them the shape of a petal.
  3. Stick them as a flower.
  4. Flatten 6 other pieces and stick them on each petal.
  5. Take the last 6 pieces, make them as petals and stick them in the middle of the flattened ones.
  6. When they are stuck, take your brush and paint them gently in blue or white.
  7. When you are done, spread some sequins on your snowflake.
  8. You can add it to the tinsel!
